» Trekking routes - Carros de foc: Classical tekking route in the Catalan Pyrenees. It is a circular route connecting 9 mountain shelters in the Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici Natial Park. The route is 55km long and a vertical drop of 9.200m. At the end of August the “Carros de Foc Sky Runner” takes place.
» Vertical KM 3.0 “Vall de Peguera”: It is a virtual race… You can download the app to be ranked and check results with other participants. The route starts leaving the village of Espot to the mountain shelter “Josep Mª Blanc” along the GR. All the participants take part in a draw for one night’s accommodation in Espot and a ski pass for one day for two people. Also, all the participats will get a 2x1 ski pass for one day at the Espot ski resort (www.espotesqui.cat)
» Adventure sports: Pallars Sobirá is a widely known area to practice adventure sports. Espot is located 20 minutes away from the village of Llavorsí, cradle of adventure sports. The most well-known is the rafting descent in the Noguera Pallaresa river, but we can’t forget other activities such as kayaking, canyoning, hydrospeed, bungee jumping, and horse riding.
