» Esbaiola’t Festival: Street Art Performance Festival organized by the company “Comediants de la Baldufa” and the Esterri d’Áneu town council. The festival takes place every year on the fourth weekend of July. In a four day programme, the festival offers puppet and circus shows, dancing, game and theater activities.  (www.festivalesbaiolat.cat)

» DH Enduro Espot: Enduro Circuit that takes place at the Espot Skii Resort. The route takes place through a forest path only allowed to 4x4 Jeeps. The descent begins after reaching the ski lift. During July, the descent becomes an official competition ranking for the Catalan DH Championsnhip  (www.ciclisme.cat - Copa Catalana)

» Fallas de Isil: The fallas take place in Isil (Pallars Sobirá) during the night of the 23th of July. This festival was declared Heritage of National Interest in 2010, and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2015 along 63 villages in the Catalan Pyrenees. (www.fallesisil.cat)

» Sheep Dog Contest: This yearly contest takes place in Llavorsí. Shepherds with their best dogs come from the Basque Contry, France, Valencia, Catalonia and Belearic Islands take part in the contest (www.catalunya.com)

» Dansáneu Festival: It is a festival of Pyrenees cultures, a trans-Pyrenees project where dancing is the epicenter of the festival. The festival includes several artistic, cultural, social and economical disciplines found in the area. Dansaneu Festival develops its cultural programme in several villages: Esterri d’Àneu, Valencia d’Àneu, Isil, La Gingueta d’Àneu, Espot, Escaló, Sorpe y Sort. (www.dansaneu.cat)

» Fly Fishing Open: International fly fishing open held in July in the village of Guingueta de Àneu.

» Raiers de la Noguera Pallaresa Festival: This festival is held in the first weekend of July in the village of Pobla de Segur. This festival celebrates the ancient craft of being a Raier. Raiers used to transport wood from the Pyrenees forest to the plains through the rivers. In 2002, this festival was declared Traditional Festival of National Interest. It lasts for three days and brings together live shows, traditional dinner, the “espardenyada” and the Raiers river descent on Sunday noon. (www.elsraiers.cat // www.lapobladesegur.cat)
